A totally non-surgical procedure, the M8 hand piece uses both radiofrequency and micro-needling for skin remodeling. No downtime is associated, safe on any skin type and can be used on patients that just took sun the same day! To sum it up, M8 is targeting subdermal layers of skin and tissue to both remodel and stimulate collagen production with no downtime and a light sunburn feeling for an hour or two. Depending on how aggressive the treatment is, a patient may have some faint bruising and/or redness for 48-72 hours
M8 Treats -
Key benefits -
Fine lines & wrinkles Hyperhidrosis
Deep and safe fractional treatment penetrating 4000 microns with an additional thermal profile of 1000+ microns.
Extremely uniform effect.
Little to no thermal damage to dermis (outer skin layer of skin.) Safe on all skin types
How does this compare to other treatments?
Microneedling - Unfortunately, M8 can get lumped in the “microneedling” category, when in reality it is so much more. Traditional microneedling involves no energy usage, fat destruction, or remodeling whatsoever. It is used to improve the texture and appearance of the skin, but also comes with redness and downtime for 2-3 days·
ProfoundRF - An effective RF Microneedling treatment from Candela. Profound cannot penetrate as deeply as M8, and while the results are also good, there is SIGNIFICANT pain and downtime associated with this treatment. If anyone asks for a reason why they should choose M8 over Profound, just show them a short treatment video from social media using Profound. That will be the end of that discussion!
Other RF Microneedling Devices - As device companies rush to capitalize on the boom that M8 has created, new competitors will pop up. Some recent ones such as AgnesRF involve single needle protocols which ostensibly do the same thing as M8, but due to that limitation they are extremely tedious, painful, and time consuming for the patient. As new devices emerge, reach out to your Sales Rep and Account Manager to discuss and prepare to field these inquiries.

DIOLAZE HAIR REMOVAL
Diolaze safely and gently eliminates unwanted hair with our advanced laser treatment by reaching the root of hair follicles. Our hair removal technology covers a large treatment area, making treatments convenient and fast. Even better, most patients report little to no pain, due to 3PC Cooling (before, during and after cooling) that provides the ultimate in patient comfort. During laser treatment, a diode laser beam is targeted towards the hair follicles. The penetrating energy then heats up the root of the hair, destroying it, which prevents future hair growth.

Gold standard wavelength, pulsing and power for optimal results and maximal safety.
Powerful enough to target and treat even the most stubborn hair. Comfortable treatments thanks to advanced contact cooling. It can also treat up to skin type VI
Our technology is the fastest available – we’ll get you in and out. Our technology is customizable for your specific skin type – no need to go anywhere else.
Pain-free hair removal is a myth, but this is the most comfortable device that we have tried – and we’ve demoed them ALL. Plus since it’s so quick, this is ideal if you’re concerned about discomfort

How does this compare to other treatments?
Laser: GentleMax, GentleMaxPro, GentleYAG, Elite, Apogee
These are all solid-state lasers and are now considered older technology. They do work, but they are considerably more painful, have more risks due to inefficient or potentially toxic skin cooling methods.
Wavelengths: 755nm Alexandrite (Skin Types 1-3 ONLY) – Dangerous on dark skin· 1064nm Nd: YAG – Safe for all skin types, but inefficient on light skin. YAG is the most painful wavelength, and requires the most treatments to reach an endpoint.
Vectus, LightSheer, Soprano ICE, These are more current devices, but are inferior in one way or another
Wavelengths: The Soprano ICE device uses filters to tune their device to more closely mimic Alexandrite and YAG. It is not efficient in doing so – this is a marketing gimmick.
The Vectus and ICON MaxR uses a “melanin reader” to automatically adjust and gives the illusion of a catered treatment. This is also a marketing gimmick, it's not very accurate or reliable.
The Lightsheer family does not cool the skin with the largest spot size, instead opting for a suction coupling effect to distract the patient from discomfort. This is ineffective for most, and slows the treatment down considerably while increasing risk of burns.IPL Hair Removal·
Elos, Icon (MaxR), Sciton Jouleo IPL Hair removal is NOT Laser Hair Removal. Filters are used to mimic true laser wavelengths. They are not, and will never be as effective as a true laser.
Waxing: Waxing needs to be done several times during the year. If a patient is consistent with waxing, they could save a significant amount of money once they make the switch to Laser Hair Removal.
